I love this game XII: ¿Maldición?

Life
Por mucho que Queens of the Stone Age digan que The End Has No End.

Past times...
Primera escena.
- J: This is a strange case. The patient doesn’t want to leave home.
- G: Any symptom?
- J: He simply fainted.
- G: Let’s go and see him.
Siguiente escena. Entran en la habitación.
- G: Please to meet you. I’m doctor wells.
- A: Doctor... who?
- G: Doctor Wells and this is my assistant, Cameron.
- J: Nice to meet you.
- G: Give me your version of the facts.
- A: (Hesitate) OK, I was in that awful street, and I nauseated. I know I fell down, and I can’t remember anymore.
- J: Right, let’s make you some tests.
- A: What do you think is going on?
- G: We don’t know, let’s see.
Siguiente escena. Toma de sangre.
- G: Bullshit! This seems to be the medical third world.
- A: Will it hurt much?
- J: It’s already done, guy.
- A: Ufff… well, is there something wrong?
- G: Don’t ask me so many questions.
- J: Don’t be so cranky, Wells!
Nueva escena. Wells y Cameron pensando.
- G: We have to wait for the analysis.
- J: What do you think it’ll be?
- G: My instinct tells me that it might be something weird, but first of all we’ll check if he has suffered a thrombus.
- J: But he would feel pain in his leg.
- G: He has been lying, so he needn’t have necessarily realised. Go to tell him.
Cameron visita a Steve.
- J: Wells asked me to inform you.
- A: What? Is there something wrong with me?
- J: We still don’t know. I just wanted to know if there is something you have hidden from us, or something you would like to explain better.
Flashback (con subtítulos y narrado)
- A: OK, I lied. I wasn´t coming back from my mum’s house. I was leaving home. When I closed the door, I nauseated and everything started to fly around me. It was terrible! Then, I dreamt I was in a big place full of bad people shouting at me...That was really frightening. I haven´t told it to you because I was ashamed.
Siguiente escena. Wells interroga a Cameron.
- G: Did you get any idea from him?
- J: Psé…
- G: I know you...You are hiding something form me.
- J: Bffffffff… I only wanted to be the protagonist of the case.
- G: C’mon, tell me what he’s told you.
- J: Well, he claims he nauseated and then fell down. He has a bruise on his head. That may have been the cause of fainting.
- G: I don’t think so. He wouldn’t be so afraid just for fainting.
- J: Agoraphobia.
- G: Sure.
Siguiente escena. Wells comunica a Wolfe su enfermedad.
- A: So...?
- G: Agoraphobia.
- A: (Wolfe sighs)
- J: We are not completely sure.
- A: Anyway, I’d rather stay at home than end up lying on the floor.
- J: Don’t be so pessimistic, man!
- G: That sounds typical of your illness, doesn’t it?
- A: You have been the ones who have told me.
- J: We are going to make some test on you.
- A: More?!
- G: We have to make sure.
- A: Is there any treatment?
- J: Of course.
Nueva escena. Cameron y Wells acompañan a Wolfe fuera de casa.
- A: I don’t know… I don’t dare...
- G: I need you to do it.
- A: What if I faint again?
- G: Don’t worry; we’ll take a bottle of concentrated ammoniac. I’ve come across dozens of cases like this since I got my degree.
- A: O.K. Let’s go. We are gonna hit the road!
- J: Let’s go. I´m going to call the lift.
Siguiente escena. Atrapados en casa.
- A: Is this a joke?!
- G: I thought this wasn’t in the script.
- J: We’re stuck!
- A: I’m agoraphobic, no claustrophobic!
- G: That’s a test. Agoraphobia makes the patient fell calm in a close place.
- A: Have you just made it up?
- J: No, he’s right.
- A: (Wolfe faints).
- G: What the hell is going on?
Siguiente escena. Wolfe se despierta.
- G: Wake up, Morpheus.
- A: (Yawning) What’s happened to me?
- G: We think you have a mixture of agoraphobia and claustrophobia.
- J: But the causes of a faint are several.
- A: Cancer?
- J: Don’t exaggerate.
- A: Thank goodness!
- G: Agoraphobia, claustrophobia, low sugar… I got it!
- A: What?
- G: Low level of sugar.
- J: Likely.
- A: With a little bit more I´ll recover, won’t I?
- G: Such a huge faint can only…
- A: How long have I been unconscious?
- J: For three days.
- G: Diabetes.
- A: Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?!
- G: Aha.
Siguiente escena.
Siguiente escena. Conversación a solas de Wells con Wolfe.
- G: Frankly, I don’t think you suffer from diabetes, you must have fainted more often, and now you’d be pale.
- A: That comforts me. Cameron told me to eat, but I’m not so hungry. Are you going to make some tests on me?
- G: No, we just have to wait.
- A: What for?
- G: To see how you progress. Had you previously suffered from any other fainting problems?
- A: Yes, when I was nine.
- G: Do you know what happened then?
- A: No, only my mother was there and she never told me anything about it.
- G: May I speak to her?
- A: I wish you could, but she passed away 6 years ago
- G: I´m sorry
- A: I´m comforted to know that your heart is in the right place
- G: What about your father?
- A: He died in the war three months before I was born.
- G: I´m sorry again. I think I´ll zip the lid for a while
Siguiente escena.
- G: Here you are the diagram with the illnesses you´ve likely to suffer

-
G: Cameron, please…
J: First of all, you can´t have a thrombus, since you´d be lame, and it´d hurt a lot. We´d notice.
A: I concur.
G: Second, Cameron…
J: It´s unlikely that you suffer from agoraphobia and claustrophobia.
A: But…
G: It´s strange that you feel at home in a closed place like your house.
A: I still can´t believe it.
G: You had better do
A:(Sigh)
G: You need to be under observation for two days in order to check the diabetes
A: And epilepsy?
J: We´ll talk about it later, but don´t dismiss it.
Siguiente escena. Dos días después.
A: Epilepsy
G: You´d be an outstanding mind…
A: (Dice para él) If only I hadn´t met him!
J: Don´t despair, Steve
G: Well, my work is done. Now go and ask one of those government scroungers for a prescription for epilepsy.
